At The Wag Club, our team is the heart of everything we do. Passionate, experienced, and totally dog-obsessed, each member is dedicated to making every pup’s day as fun, safe, and loving as possible. Meet the people behind the wagging tails!

Meet Our Founder

Jamie

Jamie is the founder of The Wag Club.

Formerly an actor known for roles in Emmerdale and Shameless, he swapped the screen for dog care after rescuing Boo, his rescue dog from New Jersey, USA.

On returning to the UK, Jamie was frustrated by the lack of quality, conveniently located day care in North London, so launched The Wag Club in Highgate in early 2014. 

Since then, the Wag Club has grown it into a thriving network of stylish, community focussed dog daycares across North London - all while serving on the board of the Pet Industry Federation

    Kris

    Alexandra Palace

    Kris is the Branch Manager at our Alexandra Palace Clubhouse. He joined The Wag Club Family in 2023 as a driver at Golders Green. After 2 years of helping to create a safe and happy enviroment for our Golders Green Members and building lasting relationships with both dog and owner, Kris has taken the helm at our newest branch Alexandra Palace.

    Golders Green

    Ros is our dedicated manager of the Golders Green branch. With over three years of experience at the Wag Club and a Master’s degree in Applied Animal Behaviour and Animal Welfare, she brings both expertise and genuine passion to her role. Ros has a thorough understanding of the dogs in her care and treats each one with love and attention.

    Ross is our dedicated manager at our Muswell Hill branch since 2018.

    His background in dog rescue/caring for dogs in need of special care has been a valuable asset to Wag club for the last 7 years

    Favourite Dog Breed: Mutts/mixed, but also has a real soft spot for sight hounds & chihuahuas

    West Hampstead

    Sophie is the Branch Manager at The Wag Club in West Hampstead, where she leads with warmth, positivity, and a deep love for dogs. Starting out as a driver and daycare assistant, she’s worked her way up through dedication and hands-on experience. Having been surrounded by dogs her whole life, Sophie is committed to creating a safe, happy environment where every dog feels at home.
