A Day in the Life at Wag Club Dog Daycare

By: Bentley the Golden Retriever

7:45 AM – “Let’s GOOOOO!”
As soon as I hear my leash jingle, my tail becomes a helicopter. I KNOW it’s a Wag Club day. I drag my human down the sidewalk like a four-legged freight train. When we reach the big glass door, it smells like heaven—treats, tennis balls, and 20 of my best friends.

8:00 AM – Check-in and Butt Sniffs
The lovely humans at Wag Club greet me by name (because obviously, I’m a star). I give them my signature wiggle and head straight in. First order of business: greet the squad. Tail wags, boops, and lots of enthusiastic sniffing.

9:00 AM – Morning Zoomies & start of the walks!!!
We hit the indoor play space like a pack of caffeinated toddlers. There are tunnels, ramps, and squeaky toys as far as the eye can see. I chase Luna the husky in circles, then wrestle with Max the bulldog. No rules—just joyful chaos. We also all start to head out on our morning walks. BEST DAY EVER!!!!

10:30 AM – Structured Play Time
Our favorite handler, Tom, rounds us up for group games. Today we’re playing “Find the Treat.” I don’t want to brag, but I’m basically a search-and-rescue prodigy when it comes to finding liver snacks.

12:00 PM – Lunch & Nap O’Clock
After all that play, I scarf down my lunch like I haven’t eaten since 2019. Then it’s nap time. We all get cozy on plush beds in the chill-out zone. Soft music plays, the lights dim, and I dream of squirrels.

1:00 PM – Spa Break (Optional, but Fancy) & Afternoon Walks
Some of my friends get whisked away for grooming or a bath. I once got the “paw-dicure” treatment, and let me tell you—my nails looked fabulous. But today, I’m just enjoying some cuddle time with the staff. Belly rubs = 5 stars. The post lunch snooze also means only one thing - afternoon walkie time!!!

2:00 PM – Afternoon Adventures
We’re back at it. While some dogs go for a walk along the Parkland Walk or Hampstead Heath, I stick around for fetch with my pals.

3.30PM - Taxi Time

Some of my floofs hop back on the doggy bus and head home. For those of us sticking around for our hoomans, it's play time again. I like the licky pads and the snuffle mats, they're my guilty pleasure.

5:00 PM – Pick-Up Parade
One by one, our humans start arriving. Every time the door opens, ears perk and tails thump. When my human walks in, I leap into their arms like a furry cannonball. I’m tired, a little stinky, and extremely happy.

6:00 PM – Dreamland
Back home, I collapse in my bed with my tongue hanging out. It was a perfect day. I miss my friends already, but I know I’ll see them again soon.
